Terms & Conditions

Cancellation Policy

  • By requesting to book into a class, you are reserving a spot.  If you do not show up for class, or cancel at any time with or without notifying Summa Iru Yoga, we have the right to request pre-payment on any future bookings you request, at any time. (This includes KARMA yoga class)  Pre-payment is non-refundable.  Please remember: We do "drop in" classes, therefore if you want to attend a class but do not know if you can until last minute, you can just come drop-in 10-15 min before start time of class, or message/email us to book in up until 15 min. before class time. 

  • If you pre-pay for a class, and cancel or do not show up, this prepayment is non-fundable, but can be put transferred ONCE, to ONE future class.

  • Although Karma Yoga is 'By Donation Only', if you book into this class and cancel/no show, we have the right to request a deposit (cost of one class) to reserve your spot. This deposit will be returned to you upon arriving to Karma Yoga class. If you cancel/no show, this deposit will be donated to charity. 

  • If Summa Iru Yoga cancels a class and you have pre-paid, you can either choose to have that payment refunded, or put towards a future class. 

  • All 'workshop' payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, no exceptions. If you cannot make class or do not show, your money will be donated to our monthly charity.

Refund/Return Policy

  • All payment options for yoga classes are non-refundable.

  • All class passes are non-transferable and non-refundable.

  • All private classes are non-refundable and must be paid for in advance. 

  • All 'Stay Wild' natural products are non-refundable.  

  • All 'Workshops' are reserved by pre-payment only, by e-transfer for cash. Payment will be full cost of 'workshop', is non-refundable and non-transferable. No exceptions. 

Liability/Medical Waiver 

  • Please click here to view/print/sign waiver

  • We ask all students to sign this waiver only once before you're first class, failure to do so results in being unable to participate in any Summa Iru Yoga classes or workshops

  • Anyone between the ages of 14-17 must have a parent or guardian sign for them.

  • You may sign this at the studio, or bring completed copy to your first class.

Purchases

  • All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include GST.

  • We accept Email Money Transfer and cash payments only at this time. 

  • Prices may change without notice.

Class Passes

  • Are non-transferable and non-refundable.

  • Expire 1 year after purchase.

    • If your classes are about to expire with visits remaining, purchase a new package before it’s expiry and we will add on the expiring classes. For example, if you have 2 visits left, when you buy 10 classes, we will add on the expiring classes, making it valid for 12 visits.

    • Once classes have expired they can not be used or renewed.

    • Classes can only be extended once.

  • Introductory pass only valid for "first time" students to Summa Iru Yoga studio class. Pass is non-transferable and non-refundable. Expires 1 year after purchase. Pass valid from time of purchase to two weeks after purchase. 

  • "First Time" student is considered someone who has never partaken in any studio class with Summa Iru Yoga

Participation

  • All yoga services from Summa Iru Yoga must be preceded by the applicant acknowledging, by way of completing a Liability Release form, that he/she has no physical limitations preventing him/her from participation.

  • Minimum age for participation is 14 years of age. All applicants under 18 years of age must have written consent from a parent or guardian.

  • The applicant agrees to abide by the rules and regulations of the studio.

  • All applicants release Summa Iru Yoga, Maddison Paetz, its owners, directors, managers and all employees of all liability regarding; 1) any loss or damage to personal property, and 2) any injury to self or child.

  • Summa Iru Yoga reserves the right to revise the terms and conditions and prices at our discretion by updating this website. You are bound by any such revisions and should therefore periodically visit this page to review the then current Terms and Conditions to which you are bound.

'Stay Wild'100% Natural and Toxin Free Products

  • We are proud to say all 'Stay Wild' products sold at Summa Iru Yoga are handmade in Appleton NL,  with 100% natural ingredients - see our products page for more detailed info 

  • 'Stay Wild' strives to source local ingredients whenever possible in all their products. 

  • Although all 'Stay Wild' products are 100% natural  and safe, we do not recommend ingestion of these products simply due to the fact that these products contain essential oils that are not recommended for consumption, and therefore Summa Iru Yoga and it's affiliates, as well as Maddison Paetz, cannot be held responsible for any problems related to consumption.

  • It is the consumers sole responsibility to read product labels and be familiar with ingredients, and use at own risk.  Summa Iru Yoga and Maddison Paetz cannot be held responsible or liable for skin reactions from products. 

  • Please note, our product labels list all ingredients in product, however, our website details the ingredients of each product in depth and contains all consumer risk information, and therefore our product page on our website should be read, prior to use of product. 

  • Please note, certain essential oils are not recommended for pregnancy, therefore, if pregnant,  please do not use without checking with your physician. Information provided does not substitute professional medical advice.
